Can't believe it's been exactly a year since my last entry. I guess my last journal was just to good to take away.
Just a week ago I switched operating system from MS (as in MiSerable) windows to Fedora (Linux). It's a change I would recommend anyone with some curiosity and a bit of willingness to learn. What I felt was that in windows I was constantly trying to do things that the system wouldn't allow me. It became a constant matter of working against my computer instead of with it. My first action was to change all my software to free programs which did indeed improve both performance as well as my mental state. If anyone is interested in alternative software I'm happy to help you find it.
In the end I felt that this wasn't enough and the idea of using Linux became increasingly stronger. After a long period of research and the difficult process of choosing what version of Linux to use for the first time a victor finally emerged. My choice was Fedora 8 xfce.

Not saying that everything works automatically in Linux. But if there's a problem it's because I haven't done anything to solve it, not because of the quirks of the OS. I'm very happy with the transition and looking forward to Fedora 9 that is to be released on the 13th of may.
On other notices I have two musicians I would really recommend. The first one I found about half a year ago and I just ordered two of his CD:s from Candyrat records. His name is Andy McKee and his skills lies in the acoustic guitar. You can really see his how he loves music when he's playing. Take a look at
Andy McKee at YouTube. Also make sure to check out his song
Drifting as well.
Second is the YouTube phenomenon and musical genius Ronald Jenkees. He's slightly wierd but he does know the true values of life and music. See his latest (and best) video at
YouTubeWell, that 's enough for today
Live long and prosper
